Composed of both letters and numbers.

Origin:

From english alpha, from latin alphābetum + english numeric, from latin numerus (number).

Examples:

1. The password must be at least eight characters long and include alphanumeric characters.
2. The alphanumeric keyboard allows you to type letters and numbers.
3. The barcode on the product is an alphanumeric code.
4. The system uses alphanumeric identification codes for each user.
5. Alphanumeric characters are used to create unique serial numbers.
