A person of indeterminate identity or background.

Origin:

Formed from the words 'any' and 'body' in middle english.

Examples:

1. Anybody can join this club if they meet the criteria.
2. Can anybody help me find my keys?
3. I don't care if anybody else comes to the party.
4. Anybody can enter the contest, as long as they are 18 years or older.
5. Has anybody seen my phone?
