A Mexican dish made of a wheat flour tortilla wrapped around a filling of typically beans, cheese, and meat, often served with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.
Origin:
Derived from the spanish word burrito, which means little donkey, originally referring to the shape of the dish similar to the bedrolls carried on the back of donkeys.
