Chronological (adjective)

Arranged or occurring in the order that the events happened.

Origin:

From the greek word "chronos" which means time and "logos" which means word or reason.

Examples:

1. The book is written in chronological order, starting with the earliest events and ending with the latest.
2. He arranged the documents in chronological order by date.
3. The chronological order of events is important in understanding the history.
4. The film tells the story in chronological order, from the beginning to the end.
