Dismount
(verb)
- To get off of a horse or other animal that one is riding.
- To remove something that is mounted.

From the middle english dismounten, from the old french desmonter, from the latin dismountare, from dis- + mountare to mount.
Examples:
- He dismounted from the horse and gave it a pat on the neck.
- She dismounted the painting from the wall to clean it.
- The soldiers dismounted from their tanks and set up camp.
- After a long ride, she finally dismounted and stretched her legs.
