Used to indicate that something is obvious or already known.

Originated from the sound of a person expressing surprise or disbelief and it is used to indicate that something is obvious or already known.

1. Q: Why did the chicken cross the road? A: To get to the other side. Duh!
2. Q: What is the capital of France? A: Paris. Duh!
3. Duh, I already knew that!
4. I asked if she wanted to go to the movies and she replied "Duh, of course".
5. He looked at me as if I was crazy when I asked if he knew how to swim, he replied "Duh!".
