Editorialize (verb)

To express a personal opinion in an editorial or other piece of writing.

Origin:

Mid 19th century: from editorial + -ize.

Examples:

1. The writer editorialized about the importance of education.
2. The newspaper was criticized for editorializing in its news articles.
3. The journalist was accused of editorializing instead of reporting the facts.
4. The editorialized piece was clearly biased.
5. Editorializing can be a way of influencing public opinion.
