1. Used to express mild surprise, amazement, or admiration.
2. Used to express mild frustration or disappointment.

Origin:

Late 19th century: probably an altered form of god, as an exclamation of surprise.

2. Gosh, I can't believe it's raining again.
3. Gosh, I wish I could have gone to the concert.
4. Gosh, she looks so different now.
5. Gosh, the traffic is really bad today.
