1. Not ever again; at no future time.
2. Not on any further occasion; no longer.

Origin:

From never + more, it is often used to indicate that something will never happen again.

Examples:

1. He swore that he would nevermore set foot in that city.
2. It was clear that the relationship was over and they would nevermore be together.
3. The company has decided to close down the factory and it will nevermore operate.
4. He vowed that he would nevermore drink again after that night.
