Nonvoter (noun)

A person who does not vote.

Origin:

Non- + voter, from vote (verb).

Examples:

1. The nonvoters tend to be younger, less educated and less affluent than voters.
2. The campaign is focusing on encouraging nonvoters to participate in the election.
3. The percentage of nonvoters in the last election was very high.
4. The nonvoters are not interested in politics and don't believe their vote will make a difference.
5. Some nonvoters are not eligible to vote, such as felons or non-citizens.
