Objectify (verb)

To treat a person, group, or thing as an object, often in a way that is dehumanizing or degrading.

Origin:

Object + -ify.

Examples:

1. The media objectifies women by focusing on their physical appearance.
2. He objectified her by treating her as a possession.
3. The society objectifies the elderly by not valuing their contributions.
4. The company objectifies its employees by not considering their well-being.
5. The artist objectifies nature by using it as a mere backdrop in his paintings.
