Procrastinate (verb)

  1. To delay or postpone action; put off doing something.
  2. To put off intentionally the doing of something that should be done.
  3. To put off intentionally and habitually.

Origin:

Mid 17th century: from latin procrastinat- "put off till tomorrow", from the verb procrastinare, from pro- "forward" + crastinus "of tomorrow".
