Regrow (verb)

Grow again, especially after being cut or damaged.

Origin:

Early 17th century: from re- + grow.

Examples:

1. The tree was able to regrow new branches after the storm.
2. The plant regrew from the roots after the stem was cut.
3. The grass regrew quickly after the lawn was mowed.
4. The hair regrew after chemotherapy.
5. The coral reef regrew after the bleaching event.
