Remonstrate

To make a strong protest or representation against something.
Origin:
Late 16th century: from latin remonstrat- "represented, pointed out", from the verb remonstrare, from re- "back" + monstrare "show".
Examples:

- The customer remonstrated with the store about the poor quality of the product.
- The citizen remonstrated with the government about the lack of services in the area.
