On certain occasions or in certain cases but not always; at times.

Origin:

Middle english, from old english sōmtyme, from sōm + tyme time.

Examples:

1. I sometimes go for a walk in the morning.
2. Sometimes, the best course of action is to do nothing.
3. It"s hard to predict what he"ll do, he"s sometimes quite unpredictable.
4. Sometimes, I think he's just playing with us.
5. Sometimes, when I'm feeling low, I like to listen to music.
