Abstaining completely from the consumption of alcohol.

Origin:

Derived from the phrase "tee total" which means "total abstinence from alcohol".

Examples:

1. He"s teetotal, he doesn"t drink alcohol at all.
2. I"m a teetotaler, I don"t drink alcohol.
3. The party was teetotal, no one was drinking.
4. My sister is teetotal, she stopped drinking 2 years ago.
