Thereabouts (adverb)

In or near that place or time; approximately.

Origin:

A combination of the word "there" meaning "in that place" and "about" meaning "around" or "nearby".

Examples:

  1. I think he said he would be back thereabouts at six.
  2. The store is located thereabouts, you can't miss it.
  3. The company's profits were thereabouts $10 million last year.
  4. I'll be thereabouts the middle of next month.
  5. The party is going to be thereabouts the lake.
