Ticklish (adjective)

Easily excited or irritated by being touched or tickled, especially in a sensitive area.

Origin:

The word ticklish is thought to be derived from the middle english word "tikelen" which means "to touch lightly".

Examples:

1. Some people are more ticklish than others.
2. The baby was ticklish on his belly.
3. The area behind the knees is known to be a ticklish spot.
4. Being tickled can be an enjoyable experience for some people, but for others, it can be ticklish and uncomfortable.
