Tummy (noun)

The stomach or belly.

Origin:

Late 16th century (as an adjective in the sense "of or relating to the womb"): probably a child"s word, or a diminutive of tum.

Examples:

1. I have a tummy ache.
2. He patted his tummy contentedly.
3. The baby kicked its little tummy.
4. She rubs her tummy to relieve the gas.
5. He always eats too much and it goes straight to his tummy.
