Unfertilized (adjective)

Not having undergone fertilization, especially with respect to an egg or ovum.

Origin:

Formed by adding the prefix 'un-' to the word 'fertilized'.

Examples:

1. The chicken egg was unfertilized and not viable.
2. She preferred unfertilized soil for her vegetable garden.
3. The unfertilized soil was unable to support plant growth.
4. The unfertilized oyster spawn was discarded.
