Unlearn (verb)

To actively forget or unlearn something that was previously learned.

Origin:

From the prefix un- meaning not and the word learn.

Examples:

1. He had to unlearn the bad habits he picked up in prison.

3. It is difficult to unlearn things that have been ingrained in our minds.
