Unregenerate (adjective)

Not regenerated; not having undergone spiritual rebirth or renewal.

Origin:

Late 16th century; earliest use found in john foxe (1517/18–1587), martyrologist and divine. from un- + regenerate.

Examples:

1. The unregenerate soul will never find peace until it repents and turns to God.
2. Despite her best efforts, she remained unregenerate and unable to change her ways.
3. The unregenerate state of the society was evident in the widespread poverty and corruption.
4. The unregenerate heart is a heart that is not receptive to the saving grace of God.
5. The unregenerate man may try to justify his actions, but in the end he will still face the consequences.
