Walkie-talkie (noun)

A portable two-way radio transceiver, typically hand-held, with a push-to-talk button and a built-in speaker and microphone.

Origin:

It was created as a term by the canadian galvin manufacturing corporation (later motorola) to describe its first hand-held two-way radio, the motorola scr-300, which was first marketed in 1940.
