1. So saturated with water as to be heavy and unmanageable.
2. So full of water as to be in danger of sinking.

Origin:

From water +‎ -logged.

Examples:

1. The boat was waterlogged and in danger of sinking.
2. The field was waterlogged from the heavy rain, making it impossible for the farmers to work.
3. The basement was waterlogged from the burst pipe.
4. The soil was waterlogged, which made it difficult for the plants to grow.
