Domineer

To behave in a bullying or overbearing manner towards (someone).
Origin:
Mid 16th century: from latin dominari "to rule", from dominus "lord".
Examples:
- He domineered over his employees and expected them to do as he said.
- She domineered over her children and didn't allow them to make their own decisions.
- He domineered over the meeting and didn't allow anyone else to speak.
- She domineered over her friends and always had to have the last word.
