Toddle (verb)

To walk unsteadily, especially as a young child or in a playful or unsteady manner.

Origin:

Probably a reduplication of tot, from the old english tættan, to walk.

Examples:

  1. The little girl toddled over to her mother, taking small, unsteady steps.
  2. The baby bears toddled out of their den, taking their first steps.
  3. He toddled down the street, pretending to be a baby.
  4. The children were giggling as they toddled through the park.
