A piece of solid excrement.
Origin:
Old english tord, of germanic origin; related to dutch tord "dung", also to tangle.
Examples:
- The dog left a turd on the lawn.
- The turd was so big, it wouldn't flush down the toilet.
- He was so mad that he wanted to drop a turd on their doorstep.
- The turd was hard and difficult to clean off the shoe.
- I saw a turd floating in the swimming pool, gross!
