Two-bit (adjective)

Cheap, of low value or quality.

Origin:

From the fact that a two-bit coin was worth very little, hence two-bit (adj.) meant "cheap, worthless".

Examples:

1. He's a two-bit crook, always looking for a quick buck.
2. It was a two-bit operation, not worth the risk.
3. The two-bit con man tried to sell us a fake watch.
4. The two-bit politician promised the world but delivered nothing.
5. The two-bit hotel was dirty and smelled bad.
