Cheap, of low value or quality.
Origin:
From the fact that a two-bit coin was worth very little, hence two-bit (adj.) meant "cheap, worthless".
Examples:
- He's a two-bit crook, always looking for a quick buck.
- It was a two-bit operation, not worth the risk.
- The two-bit con man tried to sell us a fake watch.
- The two-bit politician promised the world but delivered nothing.
- The two-bit hotel was dirty and smelled bad.
