Undercook

To cook food for less time than is necessary, resulting in it being underdone or raw.
Origin:
From the prefix under- meaning beneath or not enough and the word cook.
Examples:
- She undercooked the chicken, it was still pink on the inside.
- He undercooked the steak, so it was difficult to chew.
- The vegetables were undercooked, so they were too crunchy.
- I undercooked the fish, so I put it back in the oven for a few more minutes.
- She undercooked the rice, so it was still hard in the center.
