Unseeing (adjective)

Not able to see or perceive visually.

Origin:

Late 16th century; formed from the prefix un- and the adjective "seeing".

Examples:

1. The unseeing eye could not distinguish the objects in front of him.
2. The unseeing masses were unaware of the hidden agenda.
3. The unseeing statue had no expression on its face.
4. The unseeing person stumbled and fell in the dark.
5. The unseeing observer missed the subtleties of the situation.
